We will be wearing Catrina attire, a female skeleton who is dressed in the style of upper-class women of the period. Join us in Catrina, Catrin attire or depiction of other contemporary figures of skeletons in a humorous way. Or simply by wearing costumes that are incredibly creative and surprising.
We welcome your contribution to our altar. Our altar has several tiers, so feel free to bring a photo of a beloved human "muerto". Or simply a candle, flowers, fruit, and other food items. The traditional belief is that the spirits will consume the essence of the foods left out for them. Perhaps bring a peanut free dish of their favorite dish, food or libation.
Crafternoon: We are planning a few crafts to enjoy together.
